Gunned Down Security Officer Remembered in New Tampa
Michael Valentin's funeral is this morning (Friday, Nov. 30) at St. Mark the Evangelist Church on Cross Creek Boulevard.
The security officer who was fatally shot at Grand Oaks Apartments is being remembered today in New Tampa.
St. Mark the Evangelist Church on Cross Creek Boulevard is the site of a funeral for Michael Valentin, the man gunned down on Thanksgiving Eve. Tampa Police have arrested teenager Larry Donell Brown in connection with the murder. Brown, who has a long history of arrests, was also linked to a gun theft and two robberies.
Valentin was a 38-year-old husband and father of two, according to WTSP.com.
St. Mark officials had no comment when asked about Valentin’s involvement in the church.

Larry Donell Brown should be tried as an adult and sentenced to electrocution. That should be televised on Pay Per View with the proceeds paid to Michael Valentin's family.
