Law Firm Provides Free Aid To USF Students
The Blick Law Firm took part in a student aid program at the university recently.
Florida attorney Michael Blickensderfer spread some good will earlier this month by providing free legal services to students at the University of South Florida.
The 25-year veteran lawyer, whose office is located at 4351 Gunn Highway, provied legal aid services to nine USF students recently. The counseling sessions were 15 minutes long and held on campus at the USF Marshall Center.
The Blick Law Firm partnered with the University of South Florida's Student Government Office of Legal Affairs to provide the services.
"Student government greatly appreciates Michael Blickensderfer and the Blick Law Firm in their efforts to aid the student body by bettering and expanding our legal aid services," said Michael Kouskoutis, Solicitor General of Student Government.
This marked the first time the Blick Law Firm participated in the event, however they plan on providing legal assistance on USF’s campus regularly.
“USF and its student body are such an important part of the Tampa community, and providing legal consultations at no cost to the student is one step in securing a successful and fruitful education for each individual,” said Blickensderfer, Owner and Attorney at Law of Blick Law Firm.
USF students hold a special place in Blickensderfer’s heart because his daughter, Dana, is a USF alumna.
To further help the students Blick Law Firm will provide a free 15 minute consultation at any time off campus for those in need as directed by the Legal Aid Department at USF.
