Target Stores Announce Black Friday Hours, Deals
The stores will open earlier this year for Black Friday shoppers.
Target will be pulling an all-nighter come Black Friday Eve. The store announced this week that they will open at 9:00p.m. on Thursday Nov. 22 with select Black Friday savings. The store will begin offering additional Doorbuster sales at 4:00a.m. on Friday, Nov. 23.
In New Tampa and Wesley Chapel, that means you can head over to our Super Target at 1201 Bruce B Downs Blvd. right after you finish off that Thanksgiving dessert.
"We heard from our guests that they look forward to kicking off their holiday shopping with deal-hunting on Thanksgiving night," said Kathee Tesija, Target's executive vice president for merchandising in an announcement. "Opening at 9 p.m. gives Target’s Black Friday guests a more convenient way to create an after-dinner shopping event that the entire family can enjoy."

Figures a business would think post-holiday-stress-induced-shopping is something a family would enjoy. How many people will be bringing their kids and significant others in just to get a deal, while dealing with pissed off people working because they need the money but would rather be HOME with their families in friends? Target and Wal-Mart think use the family excuse when the last thing they want is kids running around and added chaos from overcrowding.
