VIDEO: Cute Poem About 2013 Florida State Fair!
At the January meeting of the Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce, Betty Jo Tompkins recited a poem giving lots of reasons why this year's 2013 Florida State Fair has something for everybody.
The 2013 Florida State Fair this year celebrates its 500th anniversary, opening its gates to the public Feb. 7-18 at the Florida State Fairgrounds at 4800 U.S. Highway 301 North.
At the January luncheon meeting of the Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce, Betty Jo Tompkins recited a poem that gives loads of reasons why the Florida State Fair is "the best darn entertainment you'll find anywhere around."

Tompkins is president of the Florida 4-H Foundation and a member of the Florida 4-H Hall of Fame. She is a long-time member of the boards of directors for the Florida State Fair and the Hillsborough County Fair.
