Week in Review Includes USF Tuition Hike, AutoZone

Stories you might have missed this week on New Tampa Patch.

1. The Florida Board of Governors approved an 11 percent tuition hike for the University of South Florida. That means students will pay $46.88 per credit hour in the 2012-13 school year.

2. On Friday we ran a story about instructor Ruben Vasquez who sees yoga as a lifelong journey of self-discovery. He leads classes at the New Tampa Regional Library, plus Arbor Greene and Cory Lake Isles.

3. The popular home decor store HomeGoods will be opening in New Tampa perhaps by summer's end. Are you a fan of the chain?

4. Tampa Police sent an email to New Tampa neighborhood watch leaders, telling them to watch out for theft by employees of moving and cleaning companies.

5. AutoZone and Monkey Bizness are coming to the area while the fast-casual eatery PDQ recently opened in Wesley Chapel.
