The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office released surveillance video of a unique shoplifting ploy. Deputies are hoping for help identifying the woman and her accomplice. The two are accused of swiping perfume from a Brandon store using a rather quirky technique for lifting the goods, according to Brandon Patch.

As the Tampa Bay Rays consider locations for a new stadium, one Hillsborough County Commissioner has a suggestion that may or may not be doggone far-fetched. Victor Crist thinks the team should consider the home of the former Tampa Greyhound Track in Sulphur Springs, according to the Tampa Bay Times. What do you think about the idea?

Summer Weather Continues

Those hoping for a break from afternoon storms might be out of luck today. The National Weather Service says we have about a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon hours. On the upside, the earlier part of the day should be pretty sunny with a high in the low 90s.
