How Do You Like the New Tampa Boulevard Bridge?

The New Tampa Boulevard Bridge has been open for five months now.

The 0.7-mile bridge spans over Interstate 75 and connects Commerce Park Boulevard in Tampa Palms with New Tampa Boulevard in West Meadows.

When it first opened Feb. 27, it drew both praise and criticism from New Tampa Patch readers. For example, Terry Walters Jr said, "Glad it is finished and looking forward to being able to use it," while Christine Costantini Gazzillo said, "What are you celebrating?? You should have kept the traffic on BBB and out of the neighborhoods."
