What Are You Doing for Patriot Day?

Tell us how you are commemorating Sept. 11.

Patriot Day takes place on Tuesday this year. It honors the nearly 3,000 people killed in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Although Patriot Day isn’t a federal holiday, American flags are typically flown at half-staff and some people observe a moment of silence beginning at 8:46 a.m., which is the time the first plane crashed into the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001.

Are you doing anything special Tuesday? Tell us in the comments section below.
