Complete Shopping List For Tax-Free Weekend

This list will help you find out if an item is tax-free or not as you shop for back-to-school items this weekend.

On your mark, get set, shop!

Florida’s popular “Back-to-School” sales tax holiday is just hours away. Starting Friday, Aug. 2, at midnight and running through midnight Sunday, Aug. 4, the holiday is the time when many families stock up on school supplies.

The real deal this year (for the first time) is that shoppers won't pay sales tax on PCs, e-readers and tablets that cost $750 or less. Below is a complete list of tax-exempt items divided by:

  • Clothing and Accessories
  • School supplies
  • Computers and accessories
Here is the complete list of tax exempt items for 2013 from the Florida Department of Revenue. "T" is taxable. "E" is exempt.
