Target Stores Introduce Price Matching For Holiday Shoppers

The retailer is offering price matching for the first time.

From just in from Target stores:

It's that time of year again when we're making our lists and checking them twice. And Target just announced they'll make shopping more cost-effective with a price-matching policy.

For the first time the retailer will match select online competitor prices from Nov. 1-Dec.16. Qualifying online retailers include Amazon.com, Walmart.com, BestBuy.com and Toysrus.com.

That means if you purchase something from a Target store between these dates and find it cheaper at these online retailers you can bring it back to Target and get the item for the lower price.

"Target’s holiday plans are built around an outstanding shopping experience, exclusive merchandise and competitive prices," said Gregg Steinhafel, Target Chairman, President and CEO in a press release. "Our guests will be able to shop with confidence this holiday season knowing that we are intensely focused on providing them the right merchandise at the right price."
