The Wingate by Wyndham will reopen as a La Quinta Inn & Suites after a $1 million renovation transforms the building.
According to a story on tbo.com, Tampa-based GSNP Florida LLC bought the hotel in January for $3.1 million. Inspire Hotels, a GSNP Florida affiliate also based in Tampa, will manage the future La Quinta.
"When the project is completed, it will almost be like walking into a brand new hotel," Dave Patel, managing partner of Inspire Hotels, told tbo.
