Why Your Vote for School Board Matters, Even if You Don't Have Kids in School

Early Voting.

Early Voting starts TODAY!In District 3 the following locations are open for Early Voting.  Jimmie B. Keel Library, New Tampa Library, North Tampa Library & Temple Terrace Library.  All locations are open 10am - 6pm. Remember that even in a closed primary, voters can vote for all non partisan races, School Boards and Judges. Many of your local elections will be decided on August 14th. Your vote is crucial for this important position, even if you don't have kids in school.  Why? Here are just a few reasons: 1) Your vote for a local issue carries much more weight than itdoes for a national election, because your vote is not competing with millionsof others. 2) Your vote carries your experience here in our community. You are the best judge to know what will work in your own community. 3) The students in school now will soon become your employees, your customers, or maybe even the entrepreneurs who develop new ways or newproducts to improve our lives and our community as a whole. 4) Your TAX DOLLARS pay for our public education even if you don't have kids in school or your children attend private school.  If you review your taxes you will notice a large portion of your current mileage goes to Hillsborough County Public Schools, so I encourage you to take an active role in how those dollars are spent. The days of summer are winding down, but it is important to act on your civil liberties and make your voice heard.  Vote for Cindy Stuart, Hillsborough County School Board, District 3
