Burger Monger Opening Soon

The Wesley Chapel location will open its doors March 19 or soon after.

Burger lovers, rejoice. Burger Monger, which has a location in Carrollwood and was named the most popular burger in the Bay Area in a Tampa Bay Times poll, is coming to Wesley Chapel.

The shop is opening March 19 or soon after, Business Manager Lisa Deptula told Patch. Construction workers could be seen readying the interior yesterday at the future site, 1656 Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, just south of State Route 56.

The Wesley Chapel location will follow the same format of the Carrollwood location, Deptula said.

Burger Monger attracts a loyal following of customers. The company boasts about its hand-cut fries and the fact its burgers are made from 100% USDA, above-prime, all natural, Akaushi Kobe beef.

Some 30-40 employees will be needed for the new location, Deptula said. All this week, officials are at the Wesley Chapel site with applications, offering on-the-spot interviews. Prospective employees can go to the job fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and then from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. each day through Friday, March 9.
