Free Library Programs Include 'All About Cats,' Excel Classes

A roundup of what's going on at the New Tampa Regional Library.

  • Thursday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. Excel: Introduction computer class. Learn all the basics about this popular Microsoft computer program.
  • Saturday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. Family Movie Matinee. Bring the family and enjoy a free flick. 
  • Monday, Oct. 8 at 2 p.m. Book discussion on Ivan Doig's "Whistling Season." "Hired as a housekeeper to work on the early 1900's Montana homestead of widower Oliver Milliron, the irreverent Rose and her brother, Morris, endeavor to educate the widower's sons while witnessing local efforts on a massive irrigation project."
  • Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 6:30 p.m. All About Cats program. The name says it all: How to care for, love and enjoy your feline friend. 
  • Thursday, Oct. 11 at at 1 p.m. Excel: Formatting computer class. Learn different formats for expressing numbers.
