New Tampa Weekend Events: Primrose Picnic, Nutcracker Tea

Here are three ideas if you don't already have plans.

Friday, Nov. 30: Friday Night Soap Design Class

  • The Soap Factory every Friday hosts a soap design class. Attendees will learn how to make soaps al while chatting with others and enjoying a glass of wine. Cost: $18. Time: 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Where: Soap Factory, 17024 Palm Pointe Drive.

Saturday, Dec. 1: Primrose School of Tampa Palms Fall Family Picnic

  • From Primrose: "This is a free event with food, a bounce house, local businesses, petting zoo, and music just to say 'thank you' to our families, teachers, and our community." Cost: Free. Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Where: 5307 Primrose Lake Circle in Tampa Palms.

Saturday, Dec. 1: Nutcracker Tea

  • From Jansen Dance: "Come meet the Sugar Plum Fairy and other characters from the Collective Soles Arts Group, 'Nutcracker.' A sit down tea with light lunch will be served. Have your picture taken and play pin the crown on the Sugar Plum Fairy. This event is for the whole family so come one and all. All proceeds are to benefit the Collective Soles Arts Group, a not for profit group that promotes the arts for the young and young at heart in New Tampa. Limited seating.
