What's Going On This Weekend? Fresh Market, Hula Hoop for Fun and Fitness

Hula Hoop for Fun and Fitness:

Skipper's Smokehouse will host a one-hour workout that focuses on this classic children's toy that can also really get the body moving. Taught by a Hoola-fit instructor, the class is limited to 10 participants. When: noon on Saturday (Sept. 15). Cost: $10. More info: facebook.com/Happy2BHoopingLLC.

Love romantic love songs? MDHF Productions LLC will be presenting an evening of timeless classics such as "Unchained Melody," "The Prayer," "My Heart Will Go On" and others performed by local vocalists Jolanda Nel, Clint Shepherd, Lisa King and Chris Romeo. Where: Carrollwood Cultural Center, 4537 Lowell Road. Time: 8 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 15). Cost: $15-18. 

Fresh Market at Wiregrass:

The fresh market is held the first and third Saturday at The Shops at Wiregrass. For those not in the know, the mall's main strip turns into an open air market where shoppers pick over fresh fruits and vegetables, some organic some not. There are also vendors selling homemade jams and jellies, handmade pasta and eco-friendly art. Be sure to grab yourself some fresh coconut water while you're there! When: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 15). Where: The Shops at Wiregrass, Wesley Chapel. Cost: free.
