HAUTE The Accessory Show: Review

HAUTE Accessory Show at Hunters Green Country Club showcased area artists who focus on creations you can wear.

The HAUTE Accessory Show presented by Lacey Smith of The Fashion Movement was in my opinion a huge success.  The event was held at The Hunters Green Country Club and it was an evening filled with fashion, food and flair.  The MC for the evening was the ever energetic Forbes Riley...of course, she had to mention her spin gym.  She gave one of her creations away on the runway and really kept the audience pumped.

One guest mentioned to me that he was surprised at the turn out.  As a New Tampa resident, I think the misconception is that we are all khaki wearing soccer moms.  Even soccer moms want to look fabulous from time to time so the turn out was not at all a surprise for me.

The designs were wonderful and I will admit, I stayed away from the food which smelled awesome and I almost took off running from the table filled with chocolate but being no stranger to Hunters Green, I can only imagine that the offerings were as perfect as the evening.

So, now that I've sung their praises....and danced on stage for a chance to win a gorgeous necklace from The Fashion Outlet, I'll post some pictures of a few of the selections offered.

Like most women, I chose a couple of favorites.  Accessoreez is my top pick, I've seen her items before, I even blogged about her because her glass jewelry is so elegant & different.  The other favored artist was Spathose, their necklaces are sure to be conversation starters.  Don't take my word for it, here is a list of all the artists, take a look & decide for yourself.

This was my first time going to this event, only because my grand daughter was one of the boutique models but believe me this event is one I won't miss again. What a grand time of fun and fashion. Lacey Smith of The Fashion Movement in Tampa is quite the organizer when it comes to Fashion. Coming from NY he knows all about fashion. Forbes Riley can't be beat when it comes to hosting. She kept me and the audience in stitches for hours. Her comedy and her little contests she had throughout the show kept everyone on the edge of their chairs. My grand daughter had an awesome time being one of the models and was impressed with the way everything backstage was organized. Kudos to all of you involved in this event.........IT WAS AWESOME! Betty, I have to agree with you, this was very well organized....not sure I have gotten over loosing that beautiful necklace lol but I did have a great time and the pieces on the runway were exquisite. All the models were beautiful so hats off to your grand daughter. Hope you and she will be participating in more fashion events taking place this month.

I received a phone call today from the designer Nicole Shannon, she was lovely & I'm glad she called. The links that are not live above are because I could not find a web presence but she phoned to say she is indeed on the web. Please find her at http://www.nicoleshannon.com & look for a feature of her designs in the near future.

Just to let you know...Leslie Belcher, Accessoreez (who I read was your favorite!) will be the exclusive accessory designer in an upcoming show in Tampa. I had the awesome opportunity to model in HAUTE and loved her designs! This upcoming show will also feature talented clothing designers, including the great Pat McGhee! [The event: Evening of Elegance: New Image Fashion show, December 8, 2012 @ Revealing Truth Ministries, 5300 Armenia, Tampa FL]. Come out and give her your support and at the same time help provide hundreds of toys for unfortunate families during this Christmas season! Much love!!! Harriett Y. Mason, Model
