Authorities Seek Info on Christmas Eve Bank Burglary

Anyone with information about the suspect pictured is asked to call the Pasco County Sheriff's Office tip line.

Pasco County Sheriff's detectives are investigating a Christmas Eve bank burglary in Wesley Chapel, which may be related to other similar bank burglaries in the Bay area on the same day.

At around 4 a.m. on Dec. 24, a black male suspect smashed a window and entered Heritage Bank, 28909 State Road 54. The man pried open a cabinet, but no money was taken, sheriff's office spokesman Kevin Doll said in a media release.

The man was wearing a white hoodie sweatshirt, pink gloves and a dark-colored mask, according to the release.

Anyone who has any information about the suspect or the burglary is asked to contact the Pasco Sheriff's Office Crimes Tip line at 1-800-706-2488.
