Detectives Trying to Identify Suspected Credit Card Thieves

Hillsborough County detectives are looking to identify a trio of suspects who went on a shopping spree with credit cards stolen from a local park.

According to a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office news release, someone stole purses from two vehicles parked at Lettuce Lake Park on Oct. 9. Inside the purses were credit cards that were used shortly after at a Walgreen's, Target and Citgo off Fletcher Avenue.

Surveillance images captured two males and a female using the cards. The trio was seen traveling in a beige Nissan Altima with tinted windows and right front-end damage.

Here’s how the news release describes the suspects: 

#1- White male, 18-25 years of age, 5'7" - 5' 10", 150 - 160 lbs., thin build and brown eyes. Wearing a black t-shirt, gray shorts, black Nike sneakers and a black baseball cap.

#2 White female, 18 - 25 years of age, 18 - 25 years of age, 5'3" - 5' 7", 120-130 lbs., thin build with shoulder length dark brown hair. Wearing a blue strap shirt with tan high waist belt, blue bell bottom jeans, black sandals and a black ball cap with green stripes.

#3 - White male, 18 - 25 years of age, 5'8" - 5' 11", 180 - 190 lbs., medium build. Wearing a plaid ball cap, dark or purple shirt, tan cargo pants and white tennis shoes.
