Bull Market Robbery Suspect Images Released

Do you know this person? Authorities say he held up the Bull Market convenience store early Tuesday morning.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office detectives are asking for the public's
assistance in identifying a man suspected of robbing a local convenience store.

Authorities say the man entered , 13742 North 42nd Street, around 6:45 a.m. Tuesday armed with a knife. He approached the clerk and demanded money and cigarettes. After receiving an undisclosed amount of currency and several cartons of Newport cigarettes, the suspect fled northbound on foot, according to a release from the Sheriff’s Office.

Bull Market is north of Fletcher Avenue near Woodspring Lane on the edge of the University and New Tampa areas.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a thin build and possible dreadlocks. He was wearing a black stocking cap, black bandana covering his face below the eyes, black short sleeve shirt, black glove on his left hand, dark cargo style shorts and black high top shoes.
