Dylan Iwan Landvreugd, 19, allegedly shot a man outside the Fletcher Avenue store.

A man wanted in connection with an April shooting at the Fletcher Avenue Walmart has been arrested in New York.

Dylan Iwan Landvreugd, 19, of 914 North Bay St. E., was nabbed in the Bronx, New York, Tuesday by the U.S. Marshals Service, according to a news release from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. He is being held at Rikers Island and awaiting extradition to Hillsborough County.

Authorities had issued a warrant for Landvreugd for aggravated battery with great bodily harm following an April 15 shooting at the big box store. A verbal dispute with 21-year-old Travis Gray turned violent when Landvreugd followed Gray outside and shot the man twice with a 9mm handgun, authorities said.
