Ribbon Cut for New Tampa Boulevard Bridge

Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn, members of the New Tampa Chamber of Commerce, and other officials celebrated the bridge's opening Wednesday.

City of Tampa officials, New Tampa Chamber of Commerce members, and others gathered at the intersection of Meadow Pine Drive and New Tampa Boulevard Wednesday morning to celebrate the opening of the New Tampa Boulevard Bridge.

Here's a photo of Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn, New Tampa Chamber President Regina Ramalheira, and others cutting the chamber's ribbon to mark the occasion.

The bridge spans over Interstate 75 and connects Commerce Park Boulevard in Tampa Palms with New Tampa Boulevard in West Meadows.
