Liberty Middle Teacher Watched Porn on the Job?

A Liberty Middle School study skills teacher was recently suspended — and is facing termination proceedings — over allegations he exposed students to pornography.

David Tenney allegedly was seen by students watching pornographic material on his cell phone and, on more than one occasion, used his personal computer in class when explicit images popped up in view of students, according to a report in the Tampa Bay Times.

The newspaper reported that the allegations were outlined in a letter to Tenney from the Hillsborough County School District. Tenney declined to comment to the Times and his reply to the district was not released.

Tenney could ultimately be terminated from his position. Tbo.com reported that Tenney, a district employee for 12 years, plans on appealing a termination.
