New Tampa Little League Collecting Canned Goods Saturday (Nov. 12)

Non-perishable foods will go to local ministries and churches.

New Tampa Little League is working with Metropolitan Ministries and a couple of local charitable organizations to help those in need.

League organizers are asking the public to bring canned and dry goods to the Kinnan Street and Live Oak fields this Saturday, Nov. 12, the final day of the fall season.

"This is our way of supporting the community after years of them supporting our park," the league writes on its website.
