I think this place is just an extention of Peabody's but only open on the weekends, not really a different bar. There is a outside entrance but you can also walk in from the back bar area of Peabody's so why do they market it as two different bars? Kinda stupid. As for the review, the back wall is the bar, there's seating and then a dance floor and stage with more seating on both sides of the dance floor. I haven't been there in a couple of years but it was very dated, circa 1980's. It could have used an updating as everything from the bar stools and the tables and chairs were of a banquet hall quality. The crowd was a mix of 40 somethings like me down to college age kids but I'd say most Fletcher Avenue thugs and hootchie mama's than USF students. I've seen more than a couple fights in there but the bouncers are more worried about who is coming in than what's going on inside. I was the Head of Security for one of Tampa's most popular nighclubs and you don't want your Security to be overly obvious and scare away your customers but they have to be able to keep an eye on all areas and stop arguements before they turn into assaults. In my opinion, I'd say a dress code is needed to keep the Hood's out but then you'd have to ban the majority of Peabody's patrons. Just Sayin'. Other than that, I've had a couple fun times there and that's why it got a Three.
