Rachel Silverman, Neighbor

Rachel Silverman has been living in Tampa since 2005, prior to which she lived in Philadelphia, Montreal, Utah, and North Carolina. She has a PhD in Communication from USF and is also a Yoga Alliance reigistered Yoga Instructor. Rachel loves to travel and can often be found planning her next trip. She also has a passion for fashion and a weakness for dresses - which she describes as the perfect attire for anywhere, especially when sampling new exotic foods locally and abroad.

I am really excited to be writing for The Patch! As a communication scholar, I love being part of the Patch's new community news forum. Tampa is a growing city with so much to offer and I look forward to exploring and writing about anything and everything of interest.
