Candy Crush Saga

“Are you crushin’?”

I first heard this phrase at a party in the spring. Someone posed the question to my friend, who was buried in her phone, sliding brightly colored candy around the screen. I had no idea what was happening, but they both agreed they were obsessed with the game: Candy Crash Saga.

Since then, I’ve watched friend after friend become hooked. Are you crushin’? What makes Candy Crush Saga so addictive?

Zimmerman Sighting

Keeping up with George Zimmerman’s coming and goings seems to become a pastime for some. In the weeks since a Florida court found him not guilty in the 2012 death of Trayvon Martin, Zimmerman’s whereabouts have made headlines. Most recently, he was spotted outside of Dallas when a police officer pulled him over for speeding. That sighting, like one before it in Orlando, made headlines.

What do you think about all the hoopla surrounding Zimmerman? Is it time to leave him alone?

A Little Rain May Fall

With a 40 percent chance of afternoon storms, it’s a safe bet that bringing an umbrella along today is a good idea. The National Weather Service says storms are more likely in the afternoon and evening hours. Some of them might be strong with heavy winds, so do be careful out there!
